the Photo Quilts Machine Washable and Dryable?

Your photo quilt
IS machine
washable and dryable!

Use cold water, gentle cycle, and mild
detergent. Tumble dry on low or medium heat (no commercial dryers). They may
also be ironed on a polyester setting. Do not dry clean or hang in the sun to
dry.

I have not had a problem with fading through
several washings. However, I am not responsible for fading blocks on your quilt
due to the composition of your water, or your choice of detergent/washing
methods. Direct sunlight WILL fade the photos and other fabric on your
quilt over time!

How
long does it take to get my Doodle's Custom Photo Quilt?
- 4-6 weeks is the normal turnaround time
to complete and return your quilt after we receive the order. Please email
to find out our current workload.
- A RUSH ORDER FEE will be charged to any order that
needs to be completed and returned in less than 4 weeks after the photos
arrive. Please contact us BEFORE
you place your order to make sure your quilt can be completed within your
timeframe.

What
size photos do I need to send?
- Any size up to 8x10 will work. Wallets will work,
but we'd rather have 3x5 inch photos as the minimum to make sure we
can make a high quality print. The bigger the picture, the better the
resolution will be.
- Copyrighted photos must be accompanied by written
permission from the photographer to use them in a quilt. Please don't send
copyrighted photos without it--we won't break the law for you.

How
good of quality must the photos be?
- High quality photos will result in high quality
reproductions. We can lighten pictures and crop them, but we cannot improve
the focus or make them better.

How
large are the photos on my quilt?
- All quilts will contain blocks with bordered 5x7
photo panels.
- 8x10 inch photo panels can be substituted for every
2-5x7 panels.

Can I
use black and white photos?
- Any photos can be reproduced. We can also change
your color photos to black & white or sepia (brown) if you'd rather have
them that way in your quilt.

Do I get my
photos back?
- Your photos will be returned with your
quilt--unharmed.

Can
I use my own fabric for my quilt or different fabric than the standard choices?
- The selections on the order form are to help make
things easier. If you want a different choice, contact
us to work out your plan.
- If you have your own favorite fabric, we will gladly
use it and return any extra with your quilt. You may also subtract 10% off
of the price.
- Contact
us to discuss how much fabric will be needed for the size quilt that
you'd like to order. It's very important to have enough!
- Please wash, dry, and press your fabric before
sending it.

How do I
order? How do I pay?
- Click on the "make an order" link above.
Please read ALL of the information listed on the page leading
to the order form. Fill out the form completely, print it, and sign it. Send
it to us along with your photos, and you'll receive your quilt in 4-6 weeks!
- We accept bank/balance transfers, or electronic
checks through PayPal
(account is doodlequilts@yahoo.com).
We also will accept money orders or cashier's checks made payable to
"Stacey Bower". If paying with a credit card through PayPal is
necessary, please add 3% of your order to the final cost, and contact
us for special instructions.. Sorry, personal checks will not be
accepted.
